Uh, I think it was the one about whether or not technology should be used in schools.

That's funny. I liked the synthesis essay. Personally, I liked the synthesis essay the best, the slavery essay second, and I didn't really like the humorists essay. :P

Lol... I liked the slavery essay the best. I've always liked Rhetorical Analysis the best. The humor was ok. Except someone taking the test with me kept going into coughing spells at that point...

I actually thought there have been worse synthesis questions. This one was about schools adopting or embracing the new wave of technology. To be more specific it asked what factors schools should consider before making the switch from paper to computer. I personally, thought the third essay question to be the hardest. I gave me no information to go by and asked how humorists play a vital role in society. What??? I panicked for about ten seconds!!! To say the least- I was NOT humored. hahahahahaha

Ahhh!! Bad pun alert!! ;)

So what did you guys use for evidence on the unhumorous humor essay? I used a political cartoon that I had read that morning (thank goodness for the morning paper!!) and Satuday Night Live. I don't think it was a spectacular combo...

Wow...I was the only person taking it at my high school. Seriously. Not nerve-wracking at all. I think it went okay, at least I felt like I could answer everything. My only fear is that I might have trailed off-topic somewhere, or that my rhetorical essay was messed up (they usually are). But I wouldn't have been able to do it period aside from Mrs. Sellers! Thank you so much!

That is so funny...I used Saturday Night Live as well! I have only watched that show once but I guess it stuck with me! :o
For another point about humorous literature like Cantebury Tales (I cannot spell!!) by Chaucer. Pretty lame, but I couldn't think of anything else!

I used the political cartoon that was in the synthesis essay. lol I also talked about Gulliver's Travels since that was a satire.

I used Saturday Night Live and (horrors) an episode from BBC's Robin Hood where the Fool is making fun of King Richard and Prince John. That essay was an epic fail for me.
